benefits realisation – making transformation and change pay off

Change practice often ignores or gives lip service to benefits realisation whereas it should be at the heart of change practice.

In all of the change management activity, the element most often overlooked is that of benefits realisation.

There are a number of common pitfalls …  benefits are not clearly articulated, clear benefit owners are not identified, no-one is accountable, blockers and enablers are neither identified nor managed. At the end of the project, practical handover of benefits accountability and governance is often overlooked – resulting in the old habits, practices and favourite spreadsheets re-emerging.

Effective change practice pays full attention to these issues … they are a major reason why so many projects fall short of their promise.

On Purpose provides the framework, governance, change tools and hands-on skill and experience to ensure the change effort is worth it. A disciplined, systematic process of regular change and benefits health checks throughout the life of the program, coaching and transfer of knowledge ensure these disciplines are not ‘one shot wonders’ and that the organisation can successfully deliver future projects.

I have proved to my clients repeatedly that I can and will deliver the results.
